RETURN POLICY

Thank you for your purchase.

We are happy you’ve got a great piece of modern art.

However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to us for a full refund equal to the purchased price or an exchange.

The cooling-off period is seven (7) days counted from 6 pm on the delivered day. The last day expired time is 6 pm.

RETURNS

 

All returns must be postmarked within seven (7) days of the delivered date.

All returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all original tags and labels attached.

They also must be returned via a traceable and insured shipping carrier, and the tracking information is provided to World Of Open Art Ltd (WOAL).

Free Returns New Zealand Wide:

 

Free returns are designed to ensure you get an artwork you love, and one that fits your space at home or work. With that in mind, we will allow a customer to return up to two (2) artworks free of charge, with us paying the return shipping. Returns above this quantity require written approval from us. 

Lay-By orders are subject to different returns policy due to the fact they take an extended time to complete payment. In the event that the artwork from a Layby order is not suitable, we reserve the right to void the returns policy with prior notice or allow the return and the buyer may return the artwork in exchange for a gift voucher to the equivalent value of the artwork purchased. The gift voucher cannot be redeemed for cash, it can only be used to purchase an alternative artwork.

International Returns:

International returns are not covered by our free shipping policy (except damaged or wrong items).

Return Process

 

To return an item, please email customer service at worldofopenart@gmail.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and a return address.

After receiving an RMA number, place the item securely in its original packaging, including proof of purchase, and mail your package to the provided address.

 

DAMAGED OR LOST IN TRANSIT ARTWORK

 

If an artwork is damaged or lost in transit, we have it fully covered.

You can either be refunded in full, request the artist to create something unique for you or purchase any other piece of art (store credit) immediately without having to wait for the insurance claim.

 

Insurance cases are handled fully by the WOAL team and artist are compensated in full as well (if damaged in transit due to courier handling).

 

 

REFUNDS

 

After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return or exchange. Please allow at least seven (7) days from the receipt of your item to process your return or exchange. The result will be sent to you by email.
